Department of Posts, Ministry of Communication, Govt. of India has released GDS Online Engagement Schedule-I, January 2026 descriptive notification vide No. 17-37/2025-GDS (Pt.I) dated 28th January 2026. Online applications are invited for engagement of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) as Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) & Dak Sevak in different Postal Circles including Assam Circle.The detailed Circle-wise / Division-wise vacancy list is available in Annexure-I on the official website.
